THE  AMERICAN  GOT HIC  STORY
Trinity is a picture perfect town in southern America. The houses are brightly painted, the lawns manicured and the people happy - at least on the surface. But Trinity, population 9666, is a particularly unsafe place to visit. In fact, it has the highest death rate in rural America, and an unusual number of people have gone missing in this seemingly peaceful southern enclave.

We are about to find out why.

Welcome to the world of American Gothic. Created by 70's pop idol Shaun Cassidy, this bone-chilling drama puts a new perspective on terrifying unnerving, riveting TV like you have never seen or felt before.

It is the ultimate story of good vs. evil as the town’s Sheriff Lucas Buck plays a horrifying game of control with the good people of Trinity, South Carolina.

Buck, played by Gary Cole, is a malevolent force who seduces the locals with favours and then has them all in his debt. He knows their secrets.

He blackmails, bribes and murders with an inexhaustible hunger for control. His supernatural evil is as pure as Satan's. His power is supreme and unchallenged - until now.
Only one force challenges Lucas Buck. That force comes in the form of a 10-year old boy, Caleb Temple. Caleb is an orphan, his mother, father, and sister all victims of the demonic Buck. Somehow this innocent child has the ability to communicate with the dead and learn the truth.
He is protected by local doctor Matt Crower and his visiting reporter cousin, Gail Emory, whose parents' deaths in Trinity were also unexplained. Together they are about to face the greatest challenge of their lives and take on the devil incarnate. American Gothic is their story.

Television events such as this do not happen often. They blaze like a fire in the dark, with sparks that sizzle on screen.

The X-Files had "it". And now, American Gothic takes us beyond the realms of bloodcurdling terror.

As we know from the X-Files, the Truth is Out There. On American Gothic, it will slowly be revealed - chilling second by chilling second. Just as the X-Files gave new meaning to the words "Trust No One", American Gothic will give new, horrifying meaning to four words set to suspend us in thrilling anticipation... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door... Someone's at the door...
